“Flu” – Ulf Obermann-Löwenstein

The stage name “Flu” is derived from my first name Ulf. I was born in 1961 in Hamm, Westphalia. I currently live as an artist in Essen-Rüttenscheid, in the heart of the Ruhr area, my adopted home.



I received my trainingGabriele Musebrink, where I also learned intuitive process painting. From 2016 to 2017 I worked as an artistic assistantMusebrink Art Schoolemployed.

Experiences, circumstances and memories, experiments with colors, structures and different materials flow into my pictures and are intended to awaken associations in the viewer. The imagination should inspire them.
